Hi friends,

One day after graduating from high school, one of my uncles recommended that I read the Bible. Until then, I had no chance to access it because of my family’s Buddhist and Animistic background. While reading the Bible, I discovered that God is actually alive and still doing good things for me. It was really exciting.

As I read the Bible, I was able to get closer to God, who exists as spirit. In many cases, he makes me hear his voice from my conscience, and sometimes he does miraculous things that I see. Above all, it is certain that he will give me courage and wisdom to overcome many temptations and difficulties so that I can move toward my goals in life.

So I am sure that reading the Word of God Bible is the most important thing for humans. There is a Bible study session in the village of USC on Sunday at 10 a.m. You can participate face-to-face or through this website. I’m sure you will get a new aspect of your life, joy, through studying the Bible.

Gospel of John 5:31-36. Relaiable witnesses about Jesus Christ^^

Jesus said that If I speak for myself, there is no way to prove I am telling the truth. There are some reliable witnesses proving Jesus' Christ dentity. V 32: But there is someone else who speaks for me, and I know what he says is true. 1.It's the proving of John the Baptist. V 33 You sent messengers to John, and he told them the truth. 35 John was a lamp that gave a lot of light, and you were glad to enjoy his light for a while. John the Baptist was born because his mother miraculously conceived six months before Jesus. Jesus said that John was a lamp. It is a figure of speech. John described himself as the bestman for the bride, Jesus. In the Jewish wedding ceremony, the role of the bestman was holding a lamp on the way the bride came(John 3:39-30). Wedding holds at night. And shouting with saying, "Bride is coing!," so that people could recognize the bride. John the baptist had a good job as a lamp. He made known Jesus as "The Lamb of God who takes away sin of the world” (John 1:29) And John testified Jesus as the one who will baptize people with the Hloy Spirit. (John 1:33-34). People became known of Jesus through John's testimy about Jesus. We are owed to him in this part. 2.Who else does testify about Jesus? All miracles work Jesus has done testifies God has sent him. 36: But something more important than John speaks for me. For the works that the Father has given me testify that the Father has sent me. Jesus fulfilled all prophecies about Christ written in the OT. Those work could not have been done by a political leader or a genius, but only the one who was sent from God. So the unique works and miracles that Jesus has done prove Jesus Christ identity. Lession to Apply today: 1. how do we know Jesus more deeply and have intimacy with him? It's through testimies of witnesses. John, Mathew, apostle Paul, through reading and hearing of their writings, we can sense his presence in our life. 2. Witnesses of the heroes about Jesus Christ challenge us to be good witnesses about Jesus. So that people around us be know of Jesus Christ! Let's be a good witness to Jesus
